average time it takes to master wild?

i ask this question because i'm trying wild and it worked once for me already and i really think it works for me. but im just wondering how much practice it will take for me to not necessarily master it but to become skilled. its been 2 weeks now and its working really well for me, other than the fact that i can never fall asleep.but i understand that its going to take some patience for me to get any better.

Only two weeks? Lucky you! I've been at it for months, and still have yet to have a satisfactory WILD. Two came close, but they were too short and fuzzy. For being too awake, I suggest either a sleep mask, or trying to WILD earlier.

im really not sure if it was wild that made me lucid or if it was a coincidence. if i went straight into the ld does that mean it was because of the wild?

I read on another thread that some people lose consciousness during the hypnogogic stage, then regain it in the dream. Either way, you became lucid .
