Is that the same thing as Lucid dreaming? |

Hi and welcome to Dream Views. |
being in a state of exhaustion works for me, and sleep on your back. |
We who are about to dream, salute you!
I can attest for the sleeping on your back. SP is kinda wierd. One of my experiences with it kinda made me scared. It was when I was first getting into lucid dreaming and I didnt know what it was. |

Maybe you could try reverse blinking. You may find a tutorial searching the forums.. |
Do a relaxtion techniuqe then just lie there and feel your body as if it were in a elevator going down, don't move you're body and eventually if you keep the feeling of you in the elevator for a bit then you'll start to feel SP. |

thanks fo all the help |

So, I tried that tutorial last night. Got paralysed. Didn't fall asleep from it though. I eventually broke out after 20 - 30 minutes of the paralysis and continued the rest of the night like normal. I did remember my dream pretty well though. And the paralysis felt pretty interesting too. |
so what exactly is SP used for? do you do it before you sleep to have a better dream or something? lol |
hi everyone, im new here. |
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum as of today and thought this was an interesting topic. I've never heard of anyone that wanted to experience sleep paralysis. Whenever it happenes to me it's not on purpose and I usually start to panic because I can't move. It somewhat scares me when it happens also. |
