I suggest you pick up a copy of Stephen LaBerge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". A great book for reading when learning about lucid dreaming. As well as a thorough guide for induction techniques.

Oh, but for the basics in short keep in mind that:
DILD = Dream Induced Lucid Dream
WILD = Wake Induced Lucid Dream
Those aren't techniques, they're types of lucid dreams. The first is a lucid dream that arises from realising you are dreaming in a dream. The second is a dream you enter consciously from the wake.
All other abbreviations are techniques.
