      No, you don't enter REM usually on a nap. You don't need to stay aware to enter a LD during a nap. All phases of sleep you can dream in. I must warn you though, sometimes during naps a good lucid dream is sometimes.

      SP is like getting the wind knocked out of you, the first couple times you think your'e gonna die. Well actually its not that bad. I had it once after waking from a lucid in the morning and I couldn't move but I knew it was nothing to worry about from being on this forum. If I hadn't known about it, I would've freaked out. I would think SP when trying to WILD would be better because you're falling asleep whereas when I got it I was trying to move to get out of bed. As long as you know that its nothing to worry about (and you do) then it won't be too scary.
