Some people find it easier to focus on one subject and actually think about it, rather than try to completely clear the mind. Inner dialogue is actually not such a problem with WILD, as long as it keeps you aware and you have lucid dreaming in your mind at the same time. With practice, WILDs will become more like meditation, but give it time. Most of all with WILD, don't worry quite so much if you're "doin' it right" or thinking a lot... just know that WILDs are all about relaxing the physical body past into sleep, while your mind stays awake.
