      Please don't hurt me.

I started a dream journal 3 days ago. The first two nights I recorded one dream, and the third I recorded two.
I'm trying to turn reality checks into a habit.
I feel like I'm making progress though.

Things I've done in naturally occurring lucid dreams are battling Pokemon, making people disappear, flying, and having sex. All good.

Everything I know comes from Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Dr. Stephen LaBarge.
At least once every person should have to run for his life, to teach him that milk doesn't come from the market, safety doesn't come from policemen, and news isn't something that happens to other people.

Sounds like you have a great start on things. LaBerge is the "grandfather" of all of this, really. The only more comprehensive resource on lucid dreaming is right here! The DJ makes a huge difference for most people, both in recall and recognizing dreamsigns.

Best of luck to you, and thanks for being part of the community!

      Welcome to the forum

It's good to see your recall is improving. LaBerge is like the Godfather of lucid dreaming, and EWOLD is a great book.

I'm not looking to nit-pick on this one, but I saw a couple references to LaBerge being the grandfather of lucid dreaming.

Tibetan Monks have been leveraging lucid dreaming for a millenium or so - probably longer than we can accurately track. I think if anyone gets credit for developing methods to induce lucid dreams, it's the monks. Tibetan dream yoga doesn't get too much attention on this sight, proabbly because of the complexity and dedication required. That's too bad.
