Its awesome that your interested in lucid dreaming, to answer your question, i think a good way to improve your recall is to plan to recall your dreams when you awaken in the morning, do this the night before, i find that it helps me dreams seem more clear because i put out the intention. Another way is to tell yourself before bed that you will remember your dreams, it can really work if you believe it to. With dream recall it is good to keep a dream journal and write down any details from the previous night, anything at all may help so its best to write down even the smallest details because things will improve eventually
