      Just started reading about dreaming

I came up with WILD'ing on my own long time ago. It didn't came to my mind that this could be useful, though. I did this just for fun, until I read something about LD recently.

I wasn't aware that I could use LD for creativity. I tried this and it worked out just fine.

Another thing, I tried recently was sensing emotions (line Deanna Troy can do in Star Trek TNG) from dream characters. Would that represent any emotional signs of the real life person counterparts, which I might be only aware of on a subconscious level? Any experience with such a thing? Interestingly, on dream characters which don't have a real life counterpart, this feels just like an empty shell.

      Hey Jansch welcome to Dreamviews!

That sounds like an interesting idea, it could very well be possible. We often do take in subtle things from the people close to us, and they may not always be notable up front. But our dreams have an interesting way of putting things into perspective, so thats very good thinking

Hey Jansch and welcome to DreamViews

I think its awesome that you learnt how to WILD before knowing that it was an actual technique, WILD is known to be the best technique but a hard one, it brings you into a lucid dream with a clear and fresh mind so you can easily accomplish things you want to do, you can do pretty much anything you want to do and interact with dream characters, the lot. I unfortunately do not have enough lucid dreams to be able to explore new things and interact with dream characters etc. But you seem to be doing very well so far so i'm sure you will pick things up with ease!

If you have any more questions please do feel free to ask

      Welcome!

If you want my personal view on dream characters-- They are (tentatively) part of your own creation and mind, even if molded after someone you know. I don't see why sensing a person with the impression of how you feel about them couldn't be. Sensing how they feel about you seems harder to believe, and could easily be misconstrued by how you think they feel about you since all information is retrived internally. ("She hates me", but that may not be the case.)

Anyway sorry about the mini-rant! Glad to have you aboard.

      to the forum!
I haven't had enough LDs to study DCs, but many people have reported that expecting DCs to react in a certain way tends to make them do just that. So sensing emotions shouldn't be too hard. If it is, try creating a cell-phone like device that can do it for you. Often times using devices to accomplish things can be easier than just trying to do it with your mind.

      Smile Nice work

Ive read enough to ell u that the people in your dreams are random generated by your brain, sometimes they reflect someones personality in real life, and nnice work with wild, ive been ld for 3 years using binaural beats induction method, and it took me a lot to master WILD

It's in deed not that easy. I get easily distracted by noises or by too many thought in my mind. In that case, I don't become lucid and something random appears in my dream. I usually succeeded in the late evening hours (just the time I usually go to bed) on a day where nothing exciting happened, and it must be very quite.

Even in a case where the appearance isn't random, as I well planned them to be there?

Interestingly, if I visit people in a dream I never have seen in real life, I don't see their faces, but still I can communicate with them.
