Thread: Was I kinda close?

Last night I was dreaming, and I said something mean to this person and he got all mad at me. I told myself "this is a dream, it isn't really happening, don't worry" and I felt better--and I replayed the 'scene' and didn't say the mean thing!! Does this mean I had a teensy amount of dream control? It wasn't super-super vivid, and I didn't control anything after that, but I definetely remember fixing the problem.

Yeah, That sounded like you were Lucid. Did you continue to know you were dreaming? Or did you forget about it (which can be easy to do.) You don't have to control anything for it to be a Lucid Dream. You just have to know it's a dream.

I'm pretty sure that I forgot, since I just kept living on throughout the dream. It all seemed back to normal after that.

Sounds like you had a lucid moment but lost it. Probable due to something distracting you right, or you might have forgot all together?

Or maybe whenever the scene replayed itself, it was actually a new dream, but the same one recurring, so you forgot.? Did you forget you were dreaming right when the scene restarted?

Anyways, you had a little moment of lucidness there.
