      Dream sign problem

Hi folks i am probably the most noob guy around because i keep asking questions... anyway i have a question: in my dreams i don,t have really specific dreamsigns so i cannot say everytime i see some dancing bananas i do a reality check for example. all my dreams are very different (yes i do keep a dream journal even if there are only 4 in it) and i dont like to do a reality check every time i walk thru a door or something because that almost always happens in real world so most of the time i will be doing a rc. And strangely enough i do not happen to be walking to a door quite often in my dreams. Please help

Maybe you'll find that after you have recorded more dreams a dream sign will become more obvious.
In the meantime you can just do some RCs randomly throughout the day. You could maybe set an alarm every hour to get you into the habbit of doing it, in the hope that this habbit will be transferred into your dreams.

Chris gave some helpful advise. I encountered a similar issue and in solution I made my dreamsigns much more vague/less specific. For example my dreams often occur in areas I've never been in real life. Thusly I do a RC each time I enter a new area (indoors to outdoors, etc) asking if I know where I am and why I'm there. Maybe the theme will be around video games, RC each time you pop in a game IRL. The hour RC is also very helpful, though if possible I would create a list of 5, if not 10 instances in which to RC throughout the day [You can regulated so that you aren't doing RC all the time.]

      Hope that helped.

Hi there and welcome to Dream Views if I haven't welcomed you already.

Maybe reality checking isn't your thing. There are other ways to attain lucidity. The tutorial section is full of other methods. But they all take some effort and practice one way or another. You have to put a little work into it if you really want it. It's well worth the effort though when you finally get that lucid dream where you're practically a dream god.

      Good luck getting there.
