      Lucid Sleepwalking?

Have you ever been sleepwalking and known that you were sleepwalking but you still couldn't stop yourself?

example 1: I was at the top of the stairs in the hallway, but what I was seeing was that I was on an old wooden ship and it was breaking up and I could see the water coming up through the boards. I had to be very careful how I stepped or I would just go crashing through. I could also see a storm raging all around me even though I knew I was in my hallway. I continued stepping carefully until I was across the area at the top of the stairs and then it was over.

example 2: I woke up and I was outside walking around my house. It was raining. Before I could go back in the house I went out back to the patio and picked up 18 St. Bernard puppies and carried them back to the garage. I was actually walking back with my arms out in a wide circle like they were full of puppies. I sat them down in the garage. I woke up again later in the backseat of the car. When I went back in the house my mom was looking for me. She said I was soaking wet and covered with grass and when she asked me what I was doing I told her that I was putting the puppies up and I went back to bed. (P.S. We didn't have any puppies)

This is very strange; lucid dreams occur during REM when SP also occurs. Sleepwalking occurs in slow-wave sleep, so you shouldn't be having such vivid...eh...hallucinations/dreams?

I mean, i may be Dr. Dreamer here, but don't take my word for this -- maybe you're having a problem with sleep paralysis? If so, that can be very dangerous. Although i don't think so, as elements of your real life appear in your dreams. Maybe you should lay off the LSD

Spooky, that DOES sound like it could be dangerous. Lets hope you don't go jumping off a cliff while dreaming, you might wake up to find you just jumped of your roof.

I don't think that I am paralyzed if I am walking around. Doesn't make sense. As for the stages of sleep thing I often baffle drs. because my body doesn't follow the rules. I was just wondering if I am the only person in the world to do such things.
