      Another n00b

Hi, im Brandon and im new here. I found this site on google after reading this article on Phrack. I'm very interested in learning how to acheive LDs and eventually OBEs. But, I rarely have any luck remembering just pieces of dreams. I've read through the tutorials but I haven't really found anything about practicing remembering dreams. Any suggestions?

      Thanks!

Well you can start a dream journal and even if you can't remember like anything from a dream just write down how you felt during the dream and you can just write down the pieces you remember.

Wow, thanks for the speedy reply. I'll definately start keeping a journal but I can never remember how I felt during a dream. On the rare occasion that I remember part of a dream, all I remember is a couple images. Could this be because maybe im not sleeping deep enough or something?

Get lost, we don't like newbies here.

      Oh wait, I'm joking.

As for remembering your dreams, make sure that you start a dream journal and if you're really struggling to remember anything then lay in bed after you wake up, keep your eyes closed and act like you're going back to sleep. Your dreams should come back to you because your mind is preparing to dream again, and the memory is the first thing to kick back on.

Make a list of common themes and go through them in the morning if you can't remember anything. Often times seeing something similar to your dream will remind you of it.

Remembering dreams is not that tricky. It's using the conscious effort of writing down all recent dreams. that jogs that short term part of your memory, and stores the dreams in long term. Also, auto-sugestion works wonders.

Before you go to sleep think to yourself " I will remember my dreams". You will find it works quite well.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.
