I don't know what you can really recommend, but where should I start on these forums? Anything of interest? Thanks! I've read the sticky here, but would still like some advice.
Welcome to the forum! First and foremost I'd like to say don't worry about it. If you allow yourself to be anxious than you won't have any fun around here. Should you post in the wrong topic we have some very nice staff members who can move them. The best way to learn is to experience, eh?
If you have a lucid dream question you could either ask it here or in one of the boards under the lucid dream category. Just read the description to each board and make your best judgment on where it belongs. Or you could just roam around and discuss already existing threads, no shame in doing that.
Sleep and dreams is more for sleep in general and non-lucid discussion. Want to learn the sleep cycle? Want new ideas on how to sleep better? Post around there.
Additional resources is where you can host your dream journal online, very useful. Also be sure to take a long look at the tutorials.
I would ignore the Dream Views' Team forums for now unless something there interests you. Basically this is for people who want to work together for a goal. Be it to aid in the education of the community, improve artistic talent, researching techniques and discoveries, etc.
The Off-topic discussion is definantly not something you should be anxious about. You can't be crazier than some of the crazy members we have here! Jump on in the lounge and chit chat with fellow members, spew nonsense in senseless banter, discussion religion and controversial issues, talk about your favorite show, etc. Oh and if you have an issue in your life the Help! board may give you some invaluable support.
Finally: Forum-related. The Meta Forum is for technical issues and suggestions for the site.
I hope this has helped in some way. Please, don't be anxious! Loosen up and show yourself all over the place.
