i've been struggling with WILDs too and some helpful advice i got was that when the images pop into your head, turn them into something. start acting out the images in your head, pretend you are actually there. it might help you out, let me know!!! |

Ive been here for a few months, but still havent had a lucid dream. When i try a WILD i can never get into sleep paralysis. All that happens is i lay there for a while, my body starts to feel numb and some random images pop into my head and drift away. I feel as if im on the brink of it but can never get to the next stage. I have had about 12 attempts at a WILD, maybe more. |

Have you had other lucid dreams? I doubt that you can have good WILDs without having a few DILDs first. |

if u wanna try what i do, I lay in my bed, and when I start drifting to sleep i keep barely pulling back awake. it helps relax alot, and it wouldnt hurt to try, right |

I always do that when I come home... I'm usually exhausted and then I keep saying to myself "Don't go to sleep. Okay, close your eyes but don't go to sleep. Turn the lights off and go under the blanket but don't go to sleep. You know what, I think i'm going to get more comfortable..." That happened today but as usual I fell asleep.... |

lol! that happens too... hmm... the only way that works for me is I lay in bed, repeat to myself "i will know i am dreaming when i fall asleep" and then usually my body goes into paralysis. |
