      Smile Hi everyone.

I heard about Dreamviews from a couple of different places, and it seemed really interesting. So far, I've had one lucid dream. Before I went to sleep that night, I drew and "L" on the back of my hand, and then I fell asleep. Something felt off, cause' I was downtown and I don't remember how I got there. So I checked the back of my hand, and the "L" was gone. Problem is, I got excited and woke up. Any suggestions?

      Congrats on getting lucid.

Rubbing your hands can keep you in a dream longer. I don't know for certain why that works but it does work. Also focus on your hands. Look at the palms, the backs, wiggle your fingers and see how they work. Try to focus on yourself or the dream environment before that jolt of over excitement smacks you back to reality.

      Hey Alex.

Vex is completely correct. Rubbing your hands does keep length of a dream. Also, keep focus on everything, whilst in a Lucid Dream you're in a kind of daze, it is best to treat it as much as reality as possible, this can be very rewarding and is very good training/practice. It is said that sitting down is also very good for clarifying dreams, but experiment with both, as they don't work for everyone.

Also, keep calm and relaxed, only if it's a Placebo it will take practice. But if you truly understand the realm of lucidity, you will remain calm and relaxed. Always remember, excitement, stress, and anxiety kill dreams, specially Lucid Dreams.

Welcome to the community my friend and I hope you enjoy yourself.

Jog in circles? That's a new one.

      That's actually quite interesting.....
