      hey everyone,

im new here.read into lucid dreaming around a year ago(stumbled on a dvd on ebay)that didnt work.so read more on the net about it and set trying it,but started skipping the important bits like DR and stuff.then i was distracted by an interest in astral projection ect which i also didnt succeed in,from there i just gave up,but still went through my mind time to time.but now im back and going to have a serious go.just having trouble recalling dreams at the moment.

Hi there, and welcome! How many dreams would you say you're remembering a night? I'm sure you've already read about keeping a dream journal. That (for me, as well as many others) has been the most important step when it comes to having lucid dreams. I stopped writing in mine for a while and my dream recall became terrible, but now that I've started up again it's really helped me. I went from remembering 1 or 2 (sometimes none) dreams a night to remembering 4 or more.
You create your own reality, and leave mine to me.

As I'm sure you found out, astral projection and lucid dreaming are closely related. I bet some of the tricks you learned researching AP will translate over pretty nicely.

Have you checked out the Tutorials Section?
      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25

Theres a nice Dream Recall tutorial that has some good tips. Also, if you're into Astral Projection type meditations, check out some of the WILD tutorials.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There are a lot of great dreamers around here Keep up that dream journal, and you will be remembering vivid dreams in no time.
