      Arrow Hai everyone ^^

Registered a few minutes ago, after verifying I'm human by answering howmuch 11+7 is.

I'm 16, and recently found out about lucid dreaming.. I was like, wow that's amazing.
To be able to control your dreams like that, it's like living 24/7 instead of 'wasting' time on sleeping ^^

I've had quite some lucid dreams before, but I never got past "level 6": being able to be conscious and act as if the dream is reality.
Other than that: my main language isn't English, and I listen to metal and some trance/psy, just in case there are any other fans on this site

I'm glad this is a mature site, I don't want those kids around with their grammar and pathetic comments.

Even with all the information here, I still manage to have a question..
During the weekends/holidays I write my dreams down, and try to find similarities etc. I don't mind waking up during the night, if this helps me with lucid dreaming.
I just wonder what you guys do during the week, when you go to school/work? I can't afford to be too tired during the day..

      Hi!

Im not sure why you would be sleepy during the day? If you successfully have a lucid dream you are still technically asleep, and if you just fall asleep normally you are still sleeping. If you find yourself up for awhile at night trying to achieve lucidity I would recommend just fall asleep and hope for a DILD.

Personally, I have been trying every night for about the past 5 nights and am never tired the next day. But of course im on summer break also

Well if you wake up several times during your sleep, you'd feel more tired when you wake up..?

I'm starting to try those WILDs and other things out once I finished my exams. I assume it's enough if I just keep a dream diary for now

I guess it would depend on how long you are up for. A lot of techniques I read on here advocate staying up for something like an hour after you wake up during the night. If I stay up for more than 5 minutes I'd have to spend a lot of time trying to relax again. What you said is possible, and is probrably different for each person.

i'd start with a wake back to bed type WILD, if you have never felt sleep paralasys you are in for a treat.
also, i work every day... try to wild every night and i'm not overly tired. once you hit SP your body is technically asleep.

no, i mean that sleep paralysis you feel while WILDing is a treat! try to WILD as often as you like, the more you practice the better it will work for you.

Oh, but I'm not getting any SP as far as I know.
Last weekend I woke up after a regular, rather vague dream. I wrote it down and decided to get back to sleep. I then had a clear dream, with the ending being lucid.
It just seemed logic to me that I would feel tired (during the next day) when I interrupt my sleep, since I can't stay in bed for as long as I want to due to school.

Thanks for your advice, I'll try to WILD during weekdays to see how it goes. I'll let you know in a PM if you like, up to you.

Last night I had 5 dreams, more than ever I think ^^ I woke up at 6 am, after my first dream. After that one I had 2 more.
Then when I was supposed to get up, I fell asleep and had another short dream I wrote them all down, it's becoming very intresting..
Since I woke up during a REM, I didn't feel tired at all when I finally got up

      Hi Guru, thanks ^^

Wow! I usually have 2 dreams tops, 5 is too much for me to handle.

      Yours?
Well, from your picks I like In Flames, Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold. I also like Children of Bodom and all the old stuff(Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath, Pantera......)
I also listen to some bands from garageband.com. It has some cool unpopular, yet amazing, bands there.
How the hell are you going to see 3 bands in the same night?

Seems like 5 dreams was too much for me aswell.. I somehow managed to write down my 2nd last dream as being the first one, and I also had a FA

OMG I forgot Slayer in my list *goes to edit* I also like Metallica, and Led Zeppelin when I want some relaxed music ^^

Everyone knows what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, however, few are familiar with the North Vegas slogan: What happens in North Vegas will haunt your dreams forever.
