      Arrow Hai everyone ^^

Registered a few minutes ago, after verifying I'm human by answering howmuch 11+7 is.

I'm 16, and recently found out about lucid dreaming.. I was like, wow that's amazing.
To be able to control your dreams like that, it's like living 24/7 instead of 'wasting' time on sleeping ^^

I've had quite some lucid dreams before, but I never got past "level 6": being able to be conscious and act as if the dream is reality.
Other than that: my main language isn't English, and I listen to metal and some trance/psy, just in case there are any other fans on this site

I'm glad this is a mature site, I don't want those kids around with their grammar and pathetic comments.

Even with all the information here, I still manage to have a question..
During the weekends/holidays I write my dreams down, and try to find similarities etc. I don't mind waking up during the night, if this helps me with lucid dreaming.
I just wonder what you guys do during the week, when you go to school/work? I can't afford to be too tired during the day..

      Hi!

Im not sure why you would be sleepy during the day? If you successfully have a lucid dream you are still technically asleep, and if you just fall asleep normally you are still sleeping. If you find yourself up for awhile at night trying to achieve lucidity I would recommend just fall asleep and hope for a DILD.

Personally, I have been trying every night for about the past 5 nights and am never tired the next day. But of course im on summer break also

Well if you wake up several times during your sleep, you'd feel more tired when you wake up..?

I'm starting to try those WILDs and other things out once I finished my exams. I assume it's enough if I just keep a dream diary for now

I guess it would depend on how long you are up for. A lot of techniques I read on here advocate staying up for something like an hour after you wake up during the night. If I stay up for more than 5 minutes I'd have to spend a lot of time trying to relax again. What you said is possible, and is probrably different for each person.

i'd start with a wake back to bed type WILD, if you have never felt sleep paralasys you are in for a treat.
also, i work every day... try to wild every night and i'm not overly tired. once you hit SP your body is technically asleep.
