      Smile Hello DreamViews!

Hello DV! My name is HellSpawn142(im sure you probably could see that), and im hoping to learn many great things in my quest to attain a goal of 100LD's! If anyone has any advice on how to maintain lucidity once I have it, that would be great! I have already had 1 lucid dream last year, but I forgot all about it and forgot how I managed to remain concious and asleep. So, yes, thats about it!

HellSpawn142! Dream Views is a great place to be if you want to LD. As Walms suggested, keeping a dream journal (DJ) is an important part of improving your dream reall and in helping you remember dreams over the long-term. Pretty much every experienced LDer, those who have done it for years, agree that keeping a DJ is an indispensible part of keeping having LDs and remembering them, too.

It sounds like you did what is called a WILD, or Wake Initated Lucid Dream. There are several tutorials on how to WILD in the tutorial section.

If you need anything at all feel free to ask or PM me.

      Hello HellSpawn!

If you've already had one lucid dream, then you have the benefit of knowing what your goal is. Like Seeker28 said, be sure to check out the Tutorial section.

My favorite way to stay in the dream is to look at my hands, rub them together, and run them over an object close to me. Touching things and feeling the texture of solid objects (even the floor) helps me stay grounded in the dream. I also like to have a simple goal set for myself ahead of time. That way, I can immediately know what I want to do

Patience is the only thing that I can tell you. Maintaining lucidity is just a matter of practice.

100LDs? Sounds reasonably, I'm nearing in on that now.
