I have a method to make things disappear that seems to work consistently for everyone who's tried it. The strange thing is that making things disappear wasn't the intended result, it just happens to work that way.
So, Carlos Castaneda wrote some books with dreaming tips, one of which was called The Art of Dreaming. The true purpose of this technique is to try to see the underlying energy of objects in dreams.
The theory is that everything real has an energy to it that can be seen with practice. But because dreams are figments of our imagination, the majority of dream elements will have no energy behind them. In the books he claims that there are real elements that can enter you dreams which do have energy, but I don't want to get into that. So, since dream things have no energy, trying to see their energy will cause them to disappear.
He never mention things disappearing in the books, but focused more on things that actually did have energy. I've tried it and have gotten other people to try it with the same results of making things disappear. This is odd because normally you'd expect the dream to follow your expectations and create some kind of visual energy for you to see.
The Method: Point your little finger and an object or DC, and declare your intent to see it's energy. What happens is the target dissolves into a mist or fog. I assume this is because it has no energy to be seen.
In my experience, very large objects will change into something of a similar theme, only a little smaller. I previously assumed if you keep trying to see this new, smaller object's energy, it will keep getting smaller until it disappears into mist like the others. But in retrospect, I'm not entirely sure, and need to verify that aspect. If anyone does try this, pleas PM me with the results.
Of course if the object doesn't disappear and you actually do see energy of some sort, ignore it and get the hell away from it for the time being. And PM me with a description of the energetic shape.
Like any lucid ability of skill, this technique sometimes fails for no apparent reason, but keep trying. I swear even though it may sound like a load of crap, for whatever reason, it works.
