      Hey, I'm new!

      Hi Everyone,

I’m (of course) a newbie and want to say thanks for all of yalls generous posts throughout this forum. At first, I thought learning how to lucid dream would be a not-fun task but about everyone here seems to enjoy it. Awesome.

I have been consistently recording my tidbits of dreams for about two weeks straight now. Let’s just say I have ways to go. My first objective is to get on a consistent sleep cycle, but my purpose for wanting to learn LD is to meditate during my dreams.

Take care and I'll see you guys around the forums!

Welcome bri. I too am pretty new to this site but learning to lucid dream is a journey and it is rewarding as you improve. I have had three attempts at WILD so far and have not succeeded, but each time I have made remarkable improvement. I went from never remembering dreams to remembering large pieces of two or three dreams a night. It is an exciting process and you should never quit. See you around the forum! .................................................. ...,.............................................. ............................also, I'm starting up my own lucid dreaming website. Just started today and it really needs trafic to get up and running. There's a forum there and if somebody wouldn't mind starting up a thread than it would be a great help! Thanks. The URL is: www.lucidpost.mfbiz.com

I've heard a couple people describe meditation during a lucid dream. It sounds like you can achieve some incredible states of consciousness. What did you have in mind?

Why in the world would learning how to be a god in your dreams not be enjoyable?

...Not that it doesn't take a lot of work (for most of us...). But, as everyone here has confirmed, once you get there, you feel *free*.

      Thanks everyone!

By meditating in my LD, I hope to evolve spiritually. I may gather some profound experiences, find new points of view, and appreciate the world around me more than I do now. Just things of that nature.

Yeah, learning how to LD seems like it'll be much more fun when you communicate with others that are trying and succeeding at it too. It also seems like one of those things where the better you get at it, the more fun you have.

Lay perfectly still in bed after you wake up and more of your dream will come back. And yes, the road to lucidity can be frustrating at times, but it's still so much fun. The subconscious is a fascinating creature, and your dream scape is gorgeous.

Sounds brilliant but there is a problem with it... From what i can tell closing your eyes seems to dissolve the dream reality and possibly wake you up.... Good luck though!

      Any questions, just pm me.

Thanks for all the advice and greetings!

Yeah, I felt a bit perplexed from all the details of the whole meditation in the lucid dream. (mostly because I don't LD yet) But, ya know how the saying goes. "Where there's a will, there's a way."

SapphireGem, that's an excellent reason to learn lucid dreaming!

      See yall around.
