How real are cartoons in dreams?

Hey everybody, I am Big John. I am sort of new to this, I had a few low level lucid dreams by accident a few years ago, which only lasted a few seconds, and am now just starting to try this. I Have a quick question to start out with.

I searched under cartoons and could not find this question, so I was wondering. How real do cartoons appear when you summon them in dreams. If I summoned up Robin Hood from the Disney video, how realistic would he appear to me. Would he be one dimensional, or would he be 3 dimensional. Would he appear flat like he does on the tv screen, or would I be able to shake his hand? I would love to hear any information, theories, or experiences.

I guess you could call them the same, but I summon Anime characters. There was one that I stole a kiss from, and another is my DG. Both look like they're suppose to, but they looked real as well. It was very cool.

I was able to find Lucy from Elfen Lied in my dream and she looked just like she did in the show.

Yeah, in most dreams I have had with cartoon characters, I too have been a cartoon, along with the scenery. I think that would be easiest to do...

there's only one answer: as real as you want them to be. The less you judge something by its appearance the less reality matters. So it turns into a Picasso painting, were single objects are central, and there are few colors or things, but the meaning in the story is the fundamental concept of life, as you get an amazing feeling that maybe larger forces are at work in the matter, and you dreams become the only reality, as you chase the meanings within them.

Assuming you are a badger or dachsund, anyway.

I've had 3-dimensional cartoon characters in my dreams that I can remember clearly, such as TOny the TIger and monsters from Dragon Quest (same dream, I think), and I have also had anime characters in at least one dream. It was too dshadowy to tell for sure whothut having been much closer, but I'm pretty sure they appeared 3-d, in a sort of non-cartoony way. Almost exactly like their characters in the shows, but somehow less cartoony.

I had Huey and Riley from the Boondocks in my dream last night and I didn't even perform a reality check although it was distinctly 'them'. Imj is right, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a good reference to what I feel cartoons or anime folk look like in my dreams.
Maybe, just for a second, you'll be awestruck.
      ...do you feel it to?

If I were to have a dream such as that, I believe they would be like cel-shade video game graphics.

If you don't know what cel-shading is, justgoogle it in images, it's basically 3d models only designed that whatever angle you look at them, they make have a 2d look, but they can be manpulated in a 3d way.

the only half assed lucid dream i had was when i first heard about it... i tried starting out with a nightmare so it would be easier to tell myself that its just a dream.. so i managed to make everything all nice and sunny but then i got distracted by something and it just ran as a regular dream.... although i wound up fighting Cratos from God Of War.. but the scenery was all pretty and colorful... like Alice in wonderland

... well im not sure if this was a lucid dream or not but i could see things with extreme detail... i was at my school but i think i dreampt that i was Sasuke from that show Naruto.. anyways.. i was just doing normal classes but i kicked the crap out of people who bugged me before classes... but i dont remember noticing that it was a dream... hehe it was just too cool to stop and think and ruin the whole thing
