Yes, a lucid dream is a dream where you are aware that it is a dream.
A WILD is when you keep your mind aware while your body goes to sleep and you enter the dreamscape.
A DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream) is when you are in a dream that was once non-lucid, and you realize that it is a dream either by doing a reality check or by some other means.
As for SP, technically no one can control it. You go through sleep paralysis every night when you are in REM sleep. Normally you only realize that you're going through SP when you are tyring to WILD, or when you wake up and are still in SP. (You just need to have some patience, and you'll be able to go through it conciously.)
What you expirienced in your dream was a false awakening. It was good that you did a reality check when you woke up, because you never know if you could still be dreaming.
WBTB means Wake Back to Bed. You normally need to wake up for a half hour or so before you WILD.
Yes, there are many other abriviations. I'm pretty sure if you check the tutorial page it goes in to detail about them.
And I don't think you can go through SP while you're awake, The tingling sensation was probably just from sitting still for so long. It's not the same as SP.
I hope this helps; and welcome to Dreamviews!
