when I try to fall asleep, like really try and not think about anything, as long as its dark and quiet I can fall asleep in under 20 seconds. The past few days I've been trying WILD before I go to sleep, and 3 and 4 1/2 hours later by using alarms.
I try
"99 I am dreaming"
98 I am dreaming...
then I focus on the shapes and stuff and fall asleep probably 3 seconds after I lose track of the count.
last night I got down to 86 before losing it

falling asleep this easy should be to my advantage in some way, right? how can I use it?

extra info: I'm 21, and my 16 year old sister says she lucid dreams all the time without even trying (I couldn't believe it either), but has difficulty controlling the dream (but I don't think shes tried any serious techniques with that). Genetics FTW?

btw I've only been trying for like 4 nights
