      music?

Would it help if you were to fall asleep to music?
If you were hearing it in your dreams, would you be able to do a reality check on that?

I don't know if it helps, but I fall asleep listening to music and I have lucid dreams.

I sometimes fall asleep listening to Merzbow, that gives some pretty crazy dreams. I seem to dream better if I fall asleep listening to music. One of the best feelings ever is slowly being woken up in the middle of the night by music. You like gently shift into consciousness. One interesting thing is that no matter what song is on it is automatically amazing sounding.

And yes I have heard of people hearing the music (or some oddity as a result of it) in their dreams and becoming lucid as a result.

I fall asleep to music and wake up to music every day for like the past 2 1/2 years.
I'll ussually listen to explosions in the sky, an instrumental and expiremental band if you dont know them, and it really helps me to fall asleep every night, but I havn't noticed any changes in my dreams.
I was just wandering if it's just me or other people who have the same problem.

It helps me when I listen to music with propts when I sleep. (Though I don't consider it a high enough success rate for me to bother) But I think it depends on the person. You should just try it out and see if it works. If it does, hurra! If it doesn't, eh well try something else.

It would depend on if you were able to fall asleep with the music on. I can't fall asleep with music playing or the TV on or something like that. Whatever works for you though.

I tried it and I don't think it helps.
Drift away and forget the music after a while and later you'll wake up in the middle of the night half deaf.
