Cool I am the new guy :)

haha, so i figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself before I formally post on anything else. lol, and if no one reads this then oh well . Anyway, when I was younger i was able to lucid quite often, a lot of times almost daily. but recently i learned what it actually was and have been trying to do it again. but it seems now that i try it is much more difficult to accomplish lmao. so, the first time i realized I was dreaming my alarm went off and practically yanked me right out of the dream, the second time i did a rc and then totally forgot i did it and went on w/ the dream. and the third time I realized i was dreaming and i got all excited about the possibilities! and then.....as stupid as i am.....i decided to "talk" to a dc. that was my "big" move. lmfao. oh well, anyhow any tips or such would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to DreamViews! Gratz on having those LD's! The first thing to do when you realize youre dreaming is to not get to excited, because you might wake up.
Also do you have a Dream Journal? It can help alot with remembering dreams, and its a key part in lucid dreaming

You have an advantage, already having first hand experience with lucid dreams. I bet the ability will come back quickly once you get the ball rolling.

Check out the Tutorials section if you haven't already:

My advice to get started quickly is get a dream journal, do RCs during the day to get your awareness up, and find a good time to fit in a Wake Back To Bed. If you do these three things, you should be lucid in no time.

haha, I wasn't excited to the point of waking up, in fact the excitement probably came from reading about not getting too excited here on dreamviews. hehe. And as for the dream journal I started one last night, but i hadn't previously because I can normally remember 2-3 dreams a night.

I've been reading the tutorials over the past few days to try and get myself into the scheme of things. and the wake back to bed thing is when you wake up and go back to sleep im assuming? I actually achieved a WILD the other night doing just that.
