Alright, alright, yeah yeah. Devotees (I have those) will remember that I made an account on this forum... oh... eight months ago or so. I participated a bit, got into a few provocative arguments, tried and failed to recall my dreams, and stopped coming here forever.
That last part's actually a lie. I'm back! The reason I'm making a new newbie thread again is that I feel that a certain very significant event that occurred in my life recently has finally given me new drive and passion to reach the icy mountaintops of my ambitions: I have this felling all of a sudden that if I can only keep trying, day after day after day, eventually I will succeed. It's a very powerful, unifying, purposeful feeling. It's like I'm a whole new person. Who needs a new newbie thread. And a legion of loyal fans.
Plus, a lot of you guys didn't have the pleasure of meeting me the first time around. Now's your chance. Here's a rehash of my little adventure of a life.
My name is Tamias, and I am a Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel from Yosemite National Park. After some very loud events involving jet engine turbines, extra terrestrial moisture, and pistachio ice cream, I found myself under the careful guardianship of a human boy named Ben, who lives in Tucson, Arizona or, as I call it, the devil's summer home. It is hot here (COOL LOL font color).
We're both non-religious, though we dislike being labeled atheists. We have dedicated our lives to protecting nature and showing people the wonderful sweetness of Earth through music, song, and literature. Ours is the ideology that we should love each other and our planet unconditionally because... well, because we're mushy like that.
Lately, I've been inspired to take up lucid dreaming again. It seems like a fantastically new and relatively untouched realm of experience just waiting to be had, and that excites me more than you can know. That's about it! On second thought, I'm not sure what I expected when I created this thread. Now I kind of expect to be yelled at... the internet community hasn't been very kind to me.
I'd really like to know where people are getting these huge melatonin tablets... 100-200mg? Then again, that sounds like it could kill a squirrel. I think I'll stick to the dietary supplements and see if those do anything.
It'll be a pleasure to meet all of you again, I'm sure! Please stop by the thread and say hi! I look forward to explaining to you, at great length, how a squirrel can actually use the internet. You people all act like it's the hardest thing in the world, honestly. Call me if you get a squirrel who can have a lucid dream. And let me talk to her. Because I'm dying to know how she did it.
Your friendly neighborhood GMGS,
~ Tamias Squirrel
