      Hello

I don't usually do this, introduce myself, I lurk. But I'm trying something new, and think I could have something to give back here occasionally so I thought I'd start it off right.

I'm Ian from Houston, TX USA. Introductions are hard, but we already have something in common, we're interested in lucid dreams. Lately I'm very interested.

I feel it's important to state some of my motivations for seeking lucid dreaming. It started out as just a curiosity some years ago but I wasn't successful at it. Now my motivations are far more serious, I want to unlock creative potential, new ideas, and combat depression. I think these are realistic goals.

      Thanks for reading.

Ian. Good to have you posting.

I hope your past experience with lucid dreaming was just lying dormant... cocooned and waiting... and is now going to develop into lucid mastery!

I think those are all great goals. I can especially feel the "Creative potential" part. It almost frustrates me, sometimes, how easy it is to be creative in dreams. If only it were that easy when we are awake.

Feel free to drop a PM if you have any specific questions. I'm assuming you know your way around the site, since you've been a member a while.

Hi Ian, 'welcome' Glad to see you're posting. Don't be nervous about introductions, everyone is welcome here and of course you've 'been here' a while, too I think those are very realistic goals, let me know if I can help you attain them

You have very respectable goals, Chrysalid.

Heh. I said I was a lurker in my introduction, too. That changed. XD
Lurkers are cool. They usually shut their mouths until they know they have a good thread/reply, making them helpful members, no matter the skill level!

I don't think I even made an intro post, but I was a lurker too... oh, how the times have changed!

Well all the rest of the dream guides replied so I guess I will

      to DV

All of those goals are reasonable. Lucid dreams always put me in a fantastic mood so that should help your depression and as for unleashing your creative side. That's what dreams do best. Did you know that Salvador Dali was a lucid dreamer?
