Thanks everyone!
Yes, I will check out the tutorials and start from the begninng I think! I have a feeling this will be a long journey for me, I really am a beginner even though I have been trying to become lucid for years! The only thing I am good at is remembering dreams, but I guess it's a start.
Yes, my dissertation came up with a few results in continuity with each other which backs up the results themselves!
The main findings were that the content of dreams usually relates to an event in the day that hasn't been thought about or talked about in real life enough. Dreams seem to aid coming to terms with aspects of life in some cases. The participants in my study often dreamed strange versions of events that took place in real life, almost as if the brain was practising situations and preparing itself for real life events.
I took part in my own study alongside my participants and found that myself and my husband actually dreamed the same dream on the same night. The dream seemed to reflect both of our shared concerns about an ex boyfriend at the time!
Thanks again for your kind messages, speak soon
