      We have plenty of great tutorials about techniques over in the Tutorials page.

      the one thing you should always do are Reality Checks, they're easy and can be very effective in helping you become lucid.

      What MysteryHunter said is exactly right and a great place to start.

      I would also recommend lurking around the forums and reading carefully so that you can understand all the acronyms and techniques.

      It can all be VERY overwhelming at first, but it gets MUCH easier quickly.

      I would also HIGHLY recommend keeping a Dream Journal.
