      New person here!

I just found about "Lucid Dreaming" tonight after searching up how to control dreams on google. I'm very intrigued about the entire ordeal considering I already remember my dreams fairly easy to begin with. I read up everything on the main site and it seems I may just be a natural at this.

I believe I'm adept at dream recall already, but lucid dreaming may require a bit of work from me.

One thing, I often used to set my alarm clock for the middle of the night, around 4:00AM to just see if I would remember my dream when I set it, and I always would. I find myself remember dreams VERY easily when I slap snooze. The dreams are not that complicated nor vivid, but I easily recall them. I do it for fun sometimes just to see what I dream 'bout when I slap that snooze button. Is this some sort of technique that works for other people? What exactly is this?

Best full on control of a dream I ever had was when I was 9 years old on vacation. I attained full control of my dream after realizing it was a dream, I had attempted during the dream to hurt myself in some way and I felt nothing... Shortly afterwards I had actually transformed myself into Mega man ( yes megaman.... he was my hero xD) and I shot random things with my exbuster.

Pretty much everything you need to know to start lucid dreaming (LDing) is here! Check out the tutorial section to get started. There is a TON of stuff here, so just take some time to expore!

Waking up during the night to increase dream recall is a great strategy! Some people do it using an alarm like you, while others train themselves to wake up on their own. I'm glad you discovered this technique, sounds like it works great for you!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

If you already have good dream recall, you are on the right track. You are also lucky to have already had a lucid experience. Now you at least know what your goal is.
