      Lucid Dream or Vivd Dream?

      Hi again!
I just have a question about the dream I had last night....

      The Dream....
I woke up in my bed (false awakening?) and everything looked exactly the same when i fell asleep. So I did a Dream Recall by checking the time on my cellphone....a few seconds later when i looked at it the time changed (the numbers were really jumbled and fuzzy) At this point I'm like "Here we go again" I got up from my bed and went to the window trying to jump out like i did the previous night. But I couldn't! I was starting to get confused and I tried to punch the screen on the window but the screen just took the shape of my fist where I hit it. Then I could hear my mom coming down the hallway asking "Anakaren, what are you doing!" I'm thinking OH NO. I just said "Nothing!" I stumbled over my bed and woke up.

Was this a lucid dream or a vivid dream? And if it was, was it a WILD or DILD? Because the night before I had a lucid dream that was extremely similar to this one but i could jump out of the window and fly! Is it possible to have fake lucid dreams?

This was a lucid. Make sure next time that you stabilize and are 100% sure that it's a dream. I mean clearly this was a dream, but you have to be completely AWARE that it's a dream and that everything around you is a false environment that you can control. Do more reality checks, try simple things just to build up your confidence. I used to have a lot of trouble getting through windows. I find that it helps to look at the stable environment of the ground outside the window and just tell yourself "This is a dream, there is no window, and I am stepping outside"... try not to even think of the glass or screen, think of it just as a hole in the wall that is specifically there as a passageway out of the room. That'll make it easier for you to just step right through rather than worrying about the screens.

      You had a DILD.

I'll bet lots of people have jumped out of windows thinking that they were dreaming, but they were also probably baked on LCD and weed.
