      Finally!!! I've found my place!!

So yeah. I've been looking everywhere for a forum. So, let me tell you how I got here.

I've been reading a lot about [now hear me out!!] acid and shrooms. I've just always been facinated with illegal drugs, I don't know why, I don't use them or anything [anymore] but I'm into the history of it all. So I'm reading about the chemical make up of psychedelics to find that tryptamine is refrenced a lot. In looking it up I discovered it had something to do with seratonin which is produced in the brain.

I had some trouble sleeping and it was pissing me off so my girlfriend recommended that I take melatonin. Well, lo and behold, an effect of melatonin is really vivid dreams. No wonder I like it so much. I've always had really vivid dreams, a couple of times realized I was dreaming and woke up thinking seriously, did that really just happen?!?

Interested in finding out more, I googled dreams and found my mecca. I'm so stoked to be here!!! I have a lot of reading to do and I intend on starting a journal.

      Thanks for having me!!!

I hope you find what you are looking for, here. Obviously, there are a ton of people around here who are fascinated by all different altered states of consciousness. Dreaming has always been my favorite drug of choice. You don't have to worry about health risks, overuse, availability, cost... ect. Plus, there is an added feeling of pride after you have a crazy trip and know you did it all yourself, with only willpower. Its pretty amazing when you think about it. We all have this ability to go on such fantasitc journeys without any outside aids.

I don't know if you've ever had a good WILD (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) experience, but sometimes it is so intense, it can only be compared to something like DMT or Salvia. Totally mind blowing.

personaly, im not a big fan of drugs/medicine to induce lucid dreams, at first it can help you get lucid dreams, but then you may find that youll need them for lucid dreams, you see where im going.
what ever floats ou boat really, im sure that everyone hare can agree that we are all different and that different techniques work with different people

i only use drugs for recreation, not lucid dreaming.
besides with a hallucinagen your really not able to sleep.
i mean you can, but your going to find it difficult to sleep.
