Yay i did it im new

Umm last night i read about recalling dreams and i had positive thoughts and believed i could dream; however, it was really hard for me to sleep because i felt an excitement inside me. When i woke up i thought of a bunch of random stuff and i began to remember my dreams, i remembered about 3 of them. I hope im on the right track but my goal is to be able to control my dreams lol

The first step to controlling your dreams is remembering them!

Did you start a dream journal? Because that helps a lot.

      Good job and

Any questions? Feel free to ask me, or anyone on the Dream Guide Team!

Try to write them down instead of texting them. You'll be able to get more detail out of it that way.

Yes, get a a notebook and record them in their instead of your phone. I can imagine vast amounts of information being lost in the process of pressing a key two or three times to get singe letter.

      Had another dream...

It was actually two dreams but continuations of each other. I could only remember those two and for some reason even if something is not real I am too dreamy to be able to crack it. I don't know what i should do, when I was a little kid i could easily tell if it was a dream or not, i dont know why; I could basically go in my dream and say it was a dream.

Good job getting your recall up. Don't get frustrated, yet, with becoming lucid. One thing at a time, right? For now, just try to appreciate all the awesome new dreams you will be remembering. A little time and a little practice, and you will figure out what makes you lucid.

(I merged your threads for you too, hope you don't mind )

Welcome to the world of lucidity! Hope you enjoy your stay. Keep working on reality checks and focusing on becoming lucid and it should come to you. Whenever you find yourself in a questionable situation be sure to reality check! Make it a "special" event not just a habit so it really sinks in. Hope any of that helps, good luck.
