actually its good to have it constantly on your mind so when you do actually dream you may think of lucid dreaming and therefore realize you are in a dream...
but make sure you don't become too obessed, because reality is a good place to be (well, not always... but you know what i mean)!

Or if you're like me, visiting the forums before bed makes me dream about having a lucid dream, while not actually lucid. Yes, it's frusterating.

Hey, thinking about lucid dreaming isn't bad. But obsession over it is. Just find a balance of where you care, but not too much.

that reminds me, what's daydreaming? Is it dreaming when conscious? I thought it was just like thinking except thinking about dream-like stuff. But I was daydreamign one day and when I woke up from my daydream, I realized that I couldn't control what I was daydreaming about. It was like a dream, but I was awake.

I have a feeling I can't see when I daydream, but when I notice i'm in a daydream and "look" to see if i can see, i snap out of it. it's like a trance.

exactly. Trance. But when I daydream, I usually can't make my own path. I hvae to follow it like an ordinary dream.
