      Lucid dreaming isn't dangerous.
I don't really believe OBE is possible.

No, there is no danger in tricking your body to sleep.

An OBE is exiting your body, whether willingly or involuntarily, not necessarily tricking your body into believing you are asleep while your mind is wide awake.

      might be possibly dangerous

i've heard its possibly dangerous to lucid dream. sleep is the time where your brain repairs itself and recooperates (right word). its basically chewing bublegum, its getting no stimulation its just dreaming and turing off slightly. when you lucid dream your brain is more active and teh brin might not be able to perform its nightly tasks. ive heard of people developing paranioa, and anxiety, also the people who lucid dream i know seem to be more prone to sleep paralysis, but thats just my own observation. again i dont know any of thsi for a fact ive just head about this.
non-the-less i will still continue to learn how to and (hopefully) lucid dream
