      Question Question about my dreams

      I've been recording my dreams in my dream journal and havn't had a lucid one yet. But I have a question about how you see in your dreams. Almost all of my dreams feel like i'm watching myself in 3rd person. Following me in almost a sort of movie. No matter what my dream is its following me outside my body. Does anyone else dream like this?

      If so if i became lucid during this 3rd person view would it switch to first person? Just wondering about this.

      That happens to me sometimes, but whenever I have an LD it is always first person.

      I've never had a 3rd person LD, but I would imagine that once a dream becomes lucid that you would switch to 1st person.

      It is pretty normal to dream in third person. =)

      If I become lucid in third person, I pretend I was sticking to the wall the whole time, and jump off the wall (my "clone" either becomes me, or disappears). Sometimes, I'll have third person instances in a lucid dream, but these usually last no longer than a few seconds.
