      Lucid for years

Hi everyone, when i found this website and looked at all of the information, i realized that i could control my dreams and have been doing so natuarally for years. I was wondering, is there anyone else who is able to do this???

Not only are you a natural, which might as well be a superpower. You stole my name. GG DV.

Welcome to dreamviews, if you can control your dreams while lucid, then yes you are a natural. Not many people can do what you do.

Yes, there are several "naturals" here who've had lucid dreams since before they can remember, but most of the forumites here have to learn to do so, and consider a lucid a rare, fortunate event (myself included.)

By the way, welcome to Dream Views. We hope that your experiences will contribute to our understanding of the dreaming mind.

We have a few naturals. It is definitely possible, but not very common. You guys make me crazy jealous

Do you do anything specific to make this happen? Or does it just happen spontaneously? Give us some advice and tips, please

Most of us have to work for it, but there are a lucky few here who do it naturally. I know one girl who hasn't had a regular dream in years.

thanks for the welcome, before i saw this site i thought maybe everyone controlled their dreams.

There is nothing that i do to make the control happen other that wanting something to happen and saying to myself "this is going to happen" it is quite odd.
In my dreams, say i'm being chased by someone and want to lose them, i usually just believe i'm going to lose them and i do. it's hard to explain. try to be stubborn and make your dreams do what you want them to do.
I will warn you though, i don't know about other lucid dreamers but i usually don't ever feel rested after i've had a dream, so that is a sacrifice.

Sorry for stealing your name no-name. i'm #64

I can make it happen if I want but new to this forum and not sure if i am lucid dreaming or not until I do a bit of research in the treads.

A Rushing pressure sound and feel in your head and ears brought on by clenching your back teeth together on and off until it does it on its own.

This sound i get without clenching my teeth when I just drift without warning.

This method doesnt work for me if i have just gone to bed but works at least 50% of the time if i am having a restless sleep.

Also works if I have broken out of the dream and want to go back.
