My sleep paralysis cycles come round every couple of months too.. I don't know why maybe it's the full moon!!!! lol messin

Very strange the way you said you fly out of your body, don't you ever turn around and see if you can veiw yourself in bed?? also when you flew above your house did the time of day match the current time?? e.g was it daytime or night?

P.S - I've just realised what you ment by clenthing your back teeth to make that noise... very interesting technique I mite try that myself!!!

I have never looked back at myself in bed?

Perhaps because i already know that i am there?

The flying sounds a bit naff but if i dont move quick I am just in SP,
this flying movment is always low to the ground and very quick.

The one time I flew above my house was at night and it was night,it wasnt actually a fly but a spiraling float upwards to a certain height.

This to me was just a very calming dream as I have never seen my house from above before and i could only see my house roof and nothing else!

There was no sudden rush back to being awake like when Lucid or in SP.

The dream impressed me enough to try and re enter it after waking because i felt so good, but it didnt happen.

I have also had 2 dreams where I had a spiral float downward in like a large cylinder with faces comming out of the cylinder walls. this i put down to nightmares though.

For some reason it works best on my back with only one pillow quite flat.

Also if i put my right forearm on my forehead?

Clench back teeth together on and off tight in a rhythmic manner until the pressure sound/feel comes on and off without the clench.

My closed eyes always see black with a purple shade above that graduates downward then back to black.

The shades of black and purple move at the same rate as the rhythmic pressure sound and finally turn into a more intense Wa Wa Wa type pressure noise then drift !

Really weird i know but it is the same sensations as i get when I drift off naturally into SP and dream.

I have never told this to anybody before and feel a bit strange now!

I am sure I will get flamed for it.

And no I dont do drugs!.

There is some debate as to weather finding yourself in your room like that is a dream or an OBE, I'm pretty sure they are dreams. Mainly for the reasons you said, that your room or house is not quite the same as in RL, and there are people there who shouldn't be.

Although that "popping" noise you described when leaving your body, I've only ever heard that described by people who claim to OBE.

Either way, it's about time you started having fun with it. This forum is full of tips to better control your dreams and ideas of things to do. Don't let it spook you, many people here would kill to have frequent lucids like you do.
