      Breaking the Habit

I'm having constant dreams where I'll wake up in the bed that I fall asleep in; I wind up looking around my room and seeing shadowy growling figures lurking slowly towards me, most of them look like wolves. I quickly realize I'm dreaming every time yet I still remain immobile and stunned in fear. Since I realize that I am in fact dreaming, I hear it would be an LD. Once the creatures get close enough they lunge at me with their mouths wide open, I proceed with smothering myself in my blankets and immediately waking up in a cold sweat.
Is there any way to break out of this cycle? I have this dream 2-3 times a week (I nap allot), it's got me a little afraid to fall asleep again.
