      Talking New to lucid dreaming

      Hey everyone, I'm Vivi.

      In a book I just finished reading, they mentioned lucid dreaming. That got me interested in this cool form of art.

      Last night I tried to get lucid. I think it worked out...for a second. I noticed that my sister had brown hair, but then forgot about it for the rest of the dream.

      I also thought that I wrote down my dreams when I woke up at night, but they aren't on the paper!

      So a problem I have with lucid dreaming is getting in to it. I remember a couple of months ago I was overtired and started vibrating in bed. I thought I fainted, but now I know better.

      So, I'm anxious to get to the controlling stage. How long does it usually take to get lucid for more than a couple of seconds?

      It really depends on the person. For some people, it takes a couple of LDs, and for others they immediately can have somewhat long ones.

      I am so frustrated! Last night, I almost had a WILD! But when I got to the part right before the vibrations I chickened out. Ughh.

      Lol don't worry, you're not the only one that chickens out. Just be sure that if you DO start to do it, just don't be afraid of anything, your hallucinations will only get worse if you do.

      I think reading people's accounts on SP makes it worse. I tried getting into SP yesterday and go pretty close, but, eventually opted out Anyways, welcome to DV Vivi and enjoy the site

      Lol I actually take back my "MAN UP" comment a little bit.

      I had a WILD lastnight and I came to the SP part (I know everyones different/overblown etc etc etc) and it felt like a beeping sound "crawled" up my leg and then hit me in the ear lol It actually shook me a bit but just maintaining helped..

      So yeah "MANNING UP" Isnt as easy as it sounds, but its possible lol.
