Hello everybody. Last friday I had my first lucid dream. Since then I got more and more intrested in lucid dreaming. I had no idea what it was althought I believed it was possible. The dream began in lucid I believe. I still remeber it clearly. Everything was clear and for some reason I was running through an unknown area and I knew it felt wierd so I don't know why pinched my arm and then I knew it was a lucid dream. |

Welcome to DV Thaik! Believe me, you won't get addicted. I love lucid dreams very much, but I'm still not addicted to them. |

Anything can become addictive. Television, drugs, sex, even pain. |

That's great news. Thanks for answering to my questions. |

Most techniques for achieving lucidity involve practicing increased attention and awareness in your daily life. Seems like a healthy addiction, to me. You get more out of your sleeping and waking life. You are not really escaping into fantasy, or losing yourself to a false reality. You are developing the ability to separate fantasy from reality, and by doing so, increasing your enjoyment of both. |

The only problem with addiction is that when you don't succeed you end up really hating yourself. |
