Question How long should I put my alarmclock for?

basically I feel like having many dreams tonight, don't care if i'm lucid or not but i just want a good dream recall. how many hours till one dream ends? can you give me the specific timings for when a dream ends? oh and also how many dreams can i have per night?thanks.

hi! I don't think using an alarm will specifically help your dream recall. what it will do is give you more chances for lucidity. 3am is a good time.

though for dream recall I suggest once you wake up to not open your eyes and not to move and instead try to recall your dreams- moving kills dream recall.

It does, because you're waking up while dreaming, and it's still fresh in your mind. You just have to write it down, or you'll forget it.

I think an alarm clock will hinder your recall as it jerks you awake. Vitamin B6 helps in recall, as does staying in bed with your eyes closed aftr you wake up.

The best thing to do is wake up after every dream you have. but i dont think alarms can be timed that well, can they? I go for 4 hours anyway, helps me with recall a bit.
