      I'm ready to give up

Its been more than 2 or 3 months now since I have been trying to work on this. I have done every tutorial, but my mind just seems to be locked down
I really don't know what to do....

You could keep trying; choose one technique and focus on it for a while, then switch. Have you already tried this? If so, how long did you try the technique(s)? Or you could take a break and try again when you feel better about it. There's no rush, and Lucid Dreaming should never make you feel pressured and/or upset in any way.

What, specifically, have you tried so far and for how long did you keep each attempt up?

What have you been trying? What is your typical routine like? I'm sure there are ways to pinpoint what is working and not working for you.

You shouldn't give up. I dont know if you are trying to hard or not, but in many cases if people TRY TOO HARD to have a Lucid Dream, it tends to make them not have one.. so maybe just relax, take your time, and enjoy the fact that you dream each night, and understand that eventually with time, you will have one

Never give up! what you need is confidence and motivation! and everyone here at DV is here to back you up! all you have to do is try new things and record all your activity to find what helps you! keep at it though!

It took me awhile to have my first Ld, but it was worth it.

Really you aren't spending that much time daily, so why not continue?

Try writing RC on your wrist with a marker and doing a reality check every time that you see it. You will RC in your dream after that.

Do you RC? I figure RCs are the best way to become lucid.

      How good's your dream recall?

Have you been trying your best all the way? Sometimes, it really needs lots of focus without being too obssessed/pressured. Relax and do your best. Lucid Dreaming is a hard skill for some people but the way I see it is that its the best thing ever and its completly normal that the most awesome thing is not just gonna be free... It takes patience like most things in life.

      Keep up the good work

Don't quit! It would be a horrible mistake to quit. Once you have your first lucid, you will never wanna give it up. Believe me. I feel like I should just give up sometimes too, but I know that it's not worth it just because of the short LD's I've had in the past.

      Stick with it!

The speed with which you are able to develop the skill of lucid dreaming depends on many individual factors.
How well do you recall dreams?
How much time can you give to practicing any tutorial or mental exercises?

      Do you practice diligently?

Do not lose your motivation, keep it up - its worth it.

Holy wow, I think I just had a lucid dream!

I just recalled, somewhere, in some time, looking at my fingers and knowing that it was a dream. It was black, foggy, dim. I struggled to become lucid but drifted away. Still!
