Ive been Lucid dreaming a large portion of my life, and never experienced any SP. Nothing really more than some fascinating floating and spinning sensations while trying to WILD anyway.

So yeah, you can. If your that worried about it, Just focus more on DILDing than WILDing, and you shouldn't have much problems with it.

When I DILD I just realize I'm dreaming in the dream. And when it's over I wake up just like from any other dream. The only thing different is that most of the time I wake up from Lucids with my eyes still closed. But I'm pretty sure that's just from trying to stay in it.

None of those but the Twin Bodies/One Body technique specifically use and require SP. SP can always randomly happen or be a 'side effect', but for those other techniques it's really not going to unless you're already pre-disposed to getting SP. Any of the DILD techniques won't have SP, because you just go to sleep normally.

Well if you are going to try any of the WILD techniques then you will probably have to face SP at some point. Like Shift said, its like a side effect.

If you don't want to experience SP then you try DILD
