      Hello

      Hello,
      wow the internet is a wonderful thing that you can type something in on google such as, how to be in your dream, and it gives you exactly what you are looking for and much more.

      i have kept a dream journal for about two years and have expierienced what i have just recently found out are called lucid dreams for a while. It usually isnt a constent thing though, once every long while...

      i remember the first time it was amazing, i was flying

      i was wondering what some common reality checks, montras, and dream indicators are?

      A few good reality checks include plugging your nose to see if you can still breathe, double-checking the time on a digital watch (make sure not only that the numbers look right, but that the time doesn't change, and that you are currently at a time that makes sense for where you are), and trying to poke a finger through your palm.

      As for mantras, I doubt the effectiveness of them in the long-term. "I will realize I am dreaming, within the dream." "I will recognize that something is wrong, and then I will know that I am dreaming." are better mantras than "I will have a lucid dream tonight."

      As far as dream indicators go (here we call them "dream signs"), check your journal! After two years of writing, surely some common themes pop up. How often are you chased in a dream? How often do you see friends that you've moved away from? Etc, etc.

      Thankyou, i do have a few of my own dream sighns (like one of my old friends and flying) but i was just curious what kinds of things were common.
      Thankyou for the good examples for the reality checks.
