      Problems with walking through/minipulating obstacles

Last night, I had my first lucid dream. I'm going to go straight to the nitty gritty...I couldn't change anything I looked at and couldn't walk through any walls. I couldn't change the scenery or anything. I was really focused and calm when I tried it I really wanted to walk through a wall.

      Any suggestions?

Also I tried going into outer space. I would fly up there but once i got so far I would just end up where i jumped from. I was never allowed to space.

My suggestion is that after you RC in real life you should imagine getting lucid. Imagine flying all the way to the stars or whatever you want to do. After my RC I always imagine getting lucid, stablizing by rubbing my hands and feeling the heat/cold, trying really hard to think what I want to do... And then imagine myself doing it. During my RCs I had pictured myself shooting blue laser beams from my hands, so I had no problems doing it in my dream either.

      Hope that helps.

Like XeL mentioned, try rehearsing your goal in real life. If you want to walk through walls, push on a wall while awake, and imagine what it would feel like to sink into it. Don't just imagine it in third person. Really feel it with your body.
