      Wild

I found DV a few weeks ago and so far have had 2 DILDs. Do I have to be more experienced to effectively WILD? Or am I ready to start trying WILD?

You can start practicing WILD whenever you want. Generally, you want to make sure you have decent dream recall before you really start pushing hardcore. It would be a shame to have a WILD, then forget it immediately after waking up. I've been there, and it is frustrating.

Give it a try whenever you have the time. Just remember, it takes a lot of practice. Don't get frustrated and give up on lucid dreaming all together. Even people who have been WILDing for dozens of years still don't have 100% success. Think of every attempt as a learning experience.

Normally I only use the DILD technique. By that technique I already had one lucid dream.
Now I´d like to try WILD too and I have a question according to WILD:
When I´m in bed for a while, my legs and arms begin to feel numbed.
Then I start to imagine myself into the situation I want to be in my dream.
But nothing happens. I lay down like this for over 30 minutes, but neither the SP nor the dream starts.
So how long does it normally take till the SP starts?
again sorry for the bad english^^

It shouldn't take more than 45 minutes or an hour, max. That would be a really bad night. Normally it should only take 15-30 minutes. Timing is very important. First of all, be sure you are doing this after a few (4 -5) hours of sleep. You want to time it so you are close to a long REM cycle as you are returning to sleep. Think of it as if you were just lying in bed in a trance, waiting for your next REM cycle to hit you.

WILD is more advanced, it takes a great deal of control over your state of mind. MILD is my favourite.

I'm in the same boat as you lutscher. I just tried to WILD a little while ago and laid in bed for about an hour and nothing happened. I think I may have got a glimpse at sort of a 'light at the end of the tunnel', like i was looking at a star, for a split second and then snapped out of it. I don't know if i was about to dream or if it was just my mind playing tricks on me.
