      Question Help, I'm a newbie

      Hello everyone
For at least three weeks I try to become lucid. But I have problems to realize that I'm dreaming, although sometimes it's obvious that I'm dreaming ( e.g. : dreaming about a school test although I'm on vacation).
In addition, the very few times when I become lucid, I have a false awakening, that I only realize after I woke up in real time.
This is a bit frustrating, so can anyone help me?

      Hi grischkaja!

What a lot of members here do if they have FAs a lot is make it a habit to reality check every time they wake up. It may work for you.

Ok thanks you all a lot! =D
I have another question: Is keeping an active dreamjournal essential for lucid dreaming?

Yes. I passed it off for a while but once I started using it I could remember around 3 dreams a night
IMO it's the most important thing for lucid dreaming
