Thread: New member and an aspiring lucid dreamer.

I've all ways wanted to have dreams that are like real life. But I never really delved into it until now. I usually have "lucid" dreams if it's a nightmare. Maybe because the scenario executes multiple things that stabilize the dream. Like realizing I'm in a nightmare and I would actually touch my chest and feel my heart beating. My nightmares don't revolved around something attacking me but someone else. And regrettably my nightmares all ways reoccur and resume until they've been completed.

I'll share my recent two. This one is about a woman banging on my door violently while screaming "let me in someone is trying to kill me" and such. I let her in and she immediately ran upstairs. For some odd reason my mind told me that it was my sister. No one else knocked on the door or tried to come in from where I was. But about a few seconds later I heard banging from upstairs, then shattering of glass, followed by that women's screaming. Then the two were fighting for awhile, around 8-10 seconds. During the time I didn't go upstairs to see or help, although I wanted to but something kept me sitting and stationary for some reason I can't explain. When the fighting began to stop I didn't hear the woman's voice or the attacker. I have a feeling she didn't die. This nightmare lasted I think 30-40 seconds.

My second one is rather short and mostly demonic. I wasn't "physically" in this dream, I was watching like a ghost or something. I was looking at this girl. Her room was as big as her bed, meaning the walls were touching each side of her bed. There were no windows, the room was white and so were her clothes, but there was a door in front of the bed. All of a sudden I was looking at the door. Then I heard banging on it, soon an axe or something was hitting it and making the shape of it's edge on the door. But each time it hit the door it became flesh, skin. Soon blood was trickling down from the marks from the axe or whatever then it stopped for a few seconds. Then a large, sadistically shaped skull burst through the door, grabbed the girl by clamping onto her with it's jaws and dragged her into hell I suppose.I immediately woke up after it clamped onto her and started swearing then played The Conduit on the Wii.

Now I don't want this first impression to seem like I'm the sort of person who loves demons, evil, darkness, etc. because I'm not. I just have these nightmares ;-;.
